THIS ACLS RENEWAL COURSE IS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE A CURRENT ACLS CERTIFICATION CARD. This Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider course is designed for healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals who have a duty to respond to cardiovascular emergencies. If your card/s are expired, you will be asked to pay the price of and take the initial course. Course is built on the foundation of the lifesaving skills and high-quality CPR taught in the Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course. This advanced course gives you the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage an adult advanced cardiovascular emergency. Course Content Includes: • The 2020 American Heart Association’s (AHA) revised comprehensive guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) • Basic life support skills including effective chest compressions, use of a bag mask device and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest • Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia • Airway management • Related pharmacology • Team dynamics and effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team • Immediate post-cardiac arrest care This ACLS Provider renewal course will be completed in one day WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS, so please make sure your BLS card is indeed valid for renewal before you arrive to take the course
