Service Description
HeartCode BLS is a blended learning delivery method that combines eLearning, which allows the student to complete part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a mandatory hands-on skills session. When taking this course, the student works at their own pace to complete the online course content, which can be completed in approximately 1 (one) to 2 (two) hours or longer. The student will complete the online portion of either the pre-hospital course or the in-hospital course, depending on the type of setting they work in. After the student completes the online portion of the course, they will attend a structured, American Heart Association instructor-led, hands-on session that focuses on meaningful skills practice, team scenarios and skills testing with a Heartcode compatible manikin. Complete Part 1 online via the Internet and print the completion certificate. Bring your certificate of completion with you on the day you take the skills session and present it to your instructor. **IMPORTANT COURSE NOTES: ^2020 provider manual is required to take this course ^Purchase Provider Manual Hardcopy $17.50 | visit COURSE LINKS TAB for link ^Review complete refund policy under FAQ tab Your American Heart Association card will be given to you the same day after successfully completing the training and is valid for 2 years.
